Our food ethos
No nasty additives
Our predominantly plant based menu changes weekly andn takes inspiration from around the world.
We make all our food from scratch including marinades, chutneys, pickles and cakes.
No meat substitutes.
We use local produce at every opportunity from our kitchen garden at Olive (our sister venue) and other trusted suppliers.
Our aim is to bring you something a bit different and naturally vegan…you wont miss the meat! However we do offer some dairy for those that need a little something else.

Why are we here?
Our number one priority is to support the sanctuary and enocourage visitors to the centre. A percentage of everything we take also goes to the sanctuary.
The walks and the views around the sanctuary are wonderful, the gift shop offers a variety of gifts and animal supplies and now you can stop for drinks, snacks or lunch at the cafe.
We encourage you to grab an annual pass and visit regularly.
Everyone welcome
We pride ourselves on being an inclusive venue which means that we are a safe space for anyone who wants to enjoy our food!
Dogs, cats, parrots and other animals are welcome in the cafe and on the terrace
We have plenty of parking and excellent wheelchair access both into the cafe and throughout the sanctuary
You can visit the cafe without having to visit the sanctuary but we thouroughly recommend that you do!
